ThrottleRun Safety

ThrottleRun is designed to reduce interaction while moving and keep location use visible.

Effective July 17, 2026

Pull over to interact

Route editing, event administration, poker card draws, dice rolls, messages, and detailed controls are for stopped riders. Checkpoint results require stopped confirmation.

Visible tracking

Active ride recording uses a visible foreground service and persistent Android notification. The app does not include covert location tracking.

Navigation

Rider mode uses large controls, limited text, and voice guidance where available. Riders remain responsible for road conditions, traffic laws, weather, and safe operation.

Emergency features

Emergency contacts and SOS tools assist the rider but are not a replacement for 911 or local emergency services. Automated crash response requires separate physical-device validation before release.

Poker and dice rides

The app records recreational event results. It does not accept wagers, collect entry funds, hold prizes, or pay winnings. Organizers remain responsible for local law and official event rules.

Built for visible, rider-controlled operation.

ThrottleRun keeps route planning, ride recording, location sharing, event participation, and maintenance records under the signed-in rider's control.
